O que dizem de nós
Delicious food, beautifully presented
We ate here on our final evening in Lisbon and it turned out to be the best meal of our stay. The waiters were very helpful and spoke good English. Between five of us we had 7 of the 'tapas' style dishes to share with bread and olives and we left feeling very well fed! The dishes came out one by one, which meant we were able to enjoy the flavours of each one thoroughly. All were absolutely delicious - whether fish, meat or vegetable, and enhanced by some lovely rose wine. There are only a few tables, so be sure to book.

Danke!byrainer w Munique, Alemanha

A very enjoyable dining experience in Lisbon
After visiting Convento do Carmo, I was hungry and wanted to eat at a place close by. I took a look at the cafes/restaurants nearby and also looked up my guidebook. I finally chose Restaurante Carmo. The boards outside which put up what's on offer for the menu of the day, the price and some drawings (with humour) caught my attention. The interior is cozy and nicely decorated. The place was not full and I was seated at a table by the window where I could see Convento do Carmo just opposite (location highly recommended in the guidebook). For €12, a soup, a main course and dessert were included. The food was delicious (I chose pumpkin soup, bacalhau with potatoes). Service was top-notch. Staff were very polite and friendly. One of them even patiently showed and explained to me the different desserts (some are traditional Portuguese) available and let me choose one.
This is a most enjoyable dining experience. Would like to return there again when I am in Lisbon in future.
